CALPATH (What You Want To Know Wednesdays)
In October of 2013 Mountain West Financial announced their exclusive program, CalPATH, (California) or PATH (other states.) This program was made to fill the void left behind from the departure of CalSTRS. CalPATH offers reduced lender fees, FHA or Conventional options, purchase or refinance options, 15, 20, 25, or 30 year terms, and many more benefits. CalPATH is eligible to be combined with other down payment assistance programs. In addition to all of those great benefits, this program also includes one free rate float down before your Closing Disclosure is issued. What is a rate float down? If the market rates go down after you have locked in your rate, you have one chance to “float down” to that lower rate for free!
