Spring Marketing Tips

Spring is the time of year when we all start deep cleaning and starting fresh. The same holds true for your marketing campaigns.   Smallbiztrends.com compiled a list of great tips to follow for your Spring marketing campaign.

Do some spring cleaning - Ivana Taylor suggests getting rid of products and services that aren’t as profitable as you’d like.

Add vibrancy to your campaigns – use vibrant colors to liven up your message. Also, this is a good time to revamp your website.

Run Facebook contests around holidays – There are several holiday marketing opportunities in Spring – take advantage! Contests can be as simple as guessing how many jelly beans are in a jar.

Use tax season to your advantage – incorporate a tax theme into your marketing strategy and offer tax related specials or tax incentives.   Tax refunds give your clients the perfect opportunity to buy your products or services; offer a coupon that is valid around the 15th.

Bring people together – Spring is a time for new beginnings and positive energy, set the tone by bringing people together for meet ups, sales, or events.

Do some local clean up - Earth Day is in spring, use this to your advantage! Sponsor a local clean up or tree planting event for the community.

Thank people – Send out thank you cards, or emails to your past clients. Be sure to list specific reasons why you are thanking them. You can do this for all seasons.

Promote less popular holidays – You can google obscure holidays and create a themed giveaway, or get together to set yourself apart and do something fun for your clients.

Clean up your web presence – Make sure there is no connection between you and harmful websites. Also, make sure to rid your page of grammar and spelling mistakes.

Partner with relevant businesses - For example, restaurants and florists flourish during this time.

Go against pricing trends – Prices tend to go up during springtime.

Try out new things - Spring is a great time to try new things. Try starting a YouTube channel, new campaign, or reach out to influencers. Test everything out, and see what works for you.

Honor mothers – Anything from handing flowers to mothers that enter your establishment, to a contest on social media will go a long way towards creating loyalty to your brand.
