Mountain West Financial Announces Russ Warner As New Regional VP of Business Development

Mountain West Financial announced today that Russ Warner has accepted the position of Regional VP of Business Development. Russ brings over 20 years of wholesale and retail mortgage banking experience. “My passion is to help recruit, train and retain loan officers across the country. I believe there are 3 things important to finding the RIGHT company; Leadership, Culture, and Opportunity.  I believe having the right leadership that understands the boots on the ground, helps a company stay focused on making a loan officer-centric company.  Culture comes with making sure you have the right people on the team.  I believe there are two different types of people in this world, Us em’s and Them em’s.  Them em’s are all about themselves, and Us em’s are all about us and the team.  Having a great culture is building upon the us-em’s and keeping the them em’s out. I believe people are looking for opportunities to help them grow, if it be growing more production, better partner relationships, or running a branch or area, I feel it to be important to help people reach their full potential” said Russ Warner, Regional VP of Business Development at Mountain West Financial, Inc.

Prior to joining Mountain West Financial, Russ spent 17 years as Vice President over Sales and Marketing for Security National Mortgage, building offices across the country.  Most recently opening up 22 offices across the US in 2014 for Affinity Lending, and is now looking for a new adventure in growing the Mountain West brand for the next 17 years!  Russ currently lives in Utah, with his wife and 3 children. “We are excited to have Russ on our team and to help spread Mountain West Financial’s mission of making homeownership a reality into the state of Utah” said Gary Martell, Jr. President of Mountain West Financial. Russ will also be working with John G. Stevens to build and develop Mountain West Financial’s new Mountain Region.
