Five Creative Ways To Keep Up With Past Clients

As part of your yearly business plan, every realtor should have goals of staying in touch with past clients. The best realtors are consistently working on their relationship with former clients. Here are five creative ways to stay in touch:

  1. Use real estate referrals - Referrals from past clients is a great compliment. Make sure to thank your past client and this is a perfect time to ask about their family and home.
  2. Provide a mini Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) - Your business plan should include to send a mini CMA once a year using your CRM system to make the client aware of where the market is, and their home’s value.
  3. Send out Just Listed and Just Sold Cards - Send the same Just Listed/Just Sold you are sending to the local area to your past clients.
  4. Publish an electronic newsletter - Make sure to use your CRM system to send out e-newsletters and include valued content for your clients; such as helpful homeowner tips to improve their house value.
  5. Drop off gifts in person - In addition to sending cards for your client’s birthday and anniversary of their home purchase (can be sent through your CRM), an inexpensive gift, like homemade cookies for a holiday would be a great way to become a familiar face and help stay top of mind.            *Courtesy of Zillow.com
