Announcing the new MyHome Assistance Program

The MyHome Assistance Program (MyHome) is a deferred payment, simple interest rate subordinate loan that may only be used with a CalHFA first mortgage. MyHome is a program designed to make a home more affordable for first-time homebuyers like you! You can receive up to 5% of the purchase price or appraised value, whichever is less, to be used for your down payment and/or closing costs.

  Features:

• Up to 5% off of the Sales Price or appraised value (whichever is less) for Down Payment and/or closing costs
• May be combined with other Down Payment Assistance
• First time homebuyers only*
• Payments deferred for life of the first mortgage**
• Is combined with a CalHFA first mortgage

*1^st time homebuyer is any borrower that has not owned a home in the last 3 years. **Payment on the MyHome program will be due if there is a transfer of title, sale of the property, or payoff of the first loan.
