Here are some habits that all successful agents have:

  1. They return calls and emails at lightening speed. These are the people that get a lead and don't let it go. They immediately make contact and they follow up.
  2. They are up on the latest technology. They are iPad toters and smartphone addicts. They do everything from anywhere.
  3. They know their neighborhoods intimately. They can tell you everything about their neighborhood that you want to know.
  4. They explain everything they are doing. When they meet with a client for the first time they explain the process, the potential roadblocks, and a few scenarios that could occur. They maintain regular contact with their client.
  5. They get leads any way they can. Smart agents are experimenters, they try out different types of lead sources.
  6. They have a great network. They have top-notch partners who provide the same level of service they do.
