5 Easy, Non-Toxic Ways to keep your Home Smelling Fresh and Clean

  1. Baking Soda - It is most effective in a closed place, such as a trash can, as an odor—busting staple.
  2. Coffee Grounds - Grounds neutralize strong odor,so place in a dry area such as cupboards or clothes drawers. After your coffee every morning, let the grounds dry and place in fabric bags to help odor but make sure it is not in a moist area to avoid mold.
  3. Charcoal and Volcanic Rocks—These can be safely used in your home. Put the rocks at the bottom of a litter box or trash can to control nasty indoor smells then just leaves outside in the sun once in a while to renew the rocks.
  4. Vinegar Spray - A mix of Vinegar and water can be an efficient and super cheap way to replace artificial odor sprays. After spraying this mix, the room will smell fresh and clean.
  5. Open Your Windows - If you don’t want to use a product, try just opening up your windows for a burst of fresh air that will also let the inside smells to fly away.
